K-Tech Charities Food Baskets Feed 400 Families

K-tech Kleening & Restoration in Weston, WI welcomed volunteers on December  17 & 18 to assist K-tech Charities with their annual distribution of 400 food baskets. Baskets were setup and filled  with non-perishable items on Friday afternoon with the help of volunteers, including players and parents from the DC  Everest High School hockey team. Even more volunteers joined in on Saturday to complete the baskets by adding  perishable food items, after which they loaded vehicles and made the deliveries.

K-tech’s Holiday Food Basket donations began in 2004 with 25 baskets and has grown through the years, as have  the needs of underserved families in Marathon County. Due to the increasing needs, K-tech began holding annual  fundraising events throughout the year to help fund the baskets, and also provide financial assistance to many local  charitable organizations. K-tech Charities’ events include Polka Meets Country, Pink Ribbon Golf Outing, and in  partnership with Chatterbox Charities, Fairways Fore Food Golf Outing.
