CoreLogic, a leading global property information, analytics and data-enabled solutions provider, recently announced the appointment of Garret Gray to lead the Company’s Protect Business Unit. This move unites all of CoreLogic’s global insurance data and technology solutions under the leadership of Gray and his team. CoreLogic acquired Next Gear Solutions, where Gray was the founder and CEO, in the fall of 2021. The acquisition enabled CoreLogic to combine the Next Gear Solutions’ best-in-class digital workflow platforms with its estimating platform, CoreLogic Claims Connect® and gold standard property data and analytics, offering insurance carriers and contractors a compelling choice to transform the claims experience for policyholders.

C&R has learned an announcement is coming soon on more leadership changes within CoreLogic. The latest change elevates Next Gear Solutions Founder Garret Gray to president of CoreLogic’s Protect arm. This elevates Gray even further into the senior leadership ranks at CoreLogic.
You’ll recall, NGS was acquired by CoreLogic last fall. CoreLogic is a data intelligence company with three arms:

The Protect arm encompasses all of CoreLogic’s insurance assets globally including risk analytics , underwriting, claims workflow, restoration contracts, and more.
