In a move that expands its footprint into retail contracting services and insurance restoration, APEX General Contracting has acquired the local roofing and siding company, My Pros.
My Pros has been serving the local community for the past 10 years. Former owner, Joe Metz, started My Pros in 2012 and will now work with APEX as a Sales Manager & Trainer. Joe will play an integral role in expanding APEX’s existing retail contracting services.
After coming off a record year in 2022, APEX keeps its eyes on further growth and community support. The acquisition of My Pros further establishes APEX as the area’s largest and best contractor, evidenced by their recent acknowledgment as the Best Home Improvement Contractor in the Stateline, as voted by the community.
APEX’s owner, Jim Stringham, is excited about the opportunity this brings. “We strive to be the best for our community and the families we serve. My Pros has done great work in the past, and we are excited to take this step with them under the APEX way of Restoration Above the Rest”.
The My Pros brand will cease operation as APEX works to effectuate the acquisition, while current and future customers can expect to see improved systems and customer service due to the expanded capacity that APEX brings.
APEX General Contracting is the area’s leading provider of roofing, siding, gutter, insurance restoration, and other general contracting services. APEX is a Platinum Preferred Contractor w/ Owens Corning and a Master Elite contractor with GAF, the top 2 shingle manufacturing companies in the nation. APEX has been listed on INC’s 500 fastest-growing companies and is a top 100 contractor in the country.
Community service is stable with APEX, evident through their contributions to several community programs and the Stateline Chamber’s 2021 Community Service Award. Their support of the Wimpy’s Fund makes it possible for less fortunate families to experience the joy of the holidays. APEX supports local youth programs through volunteerism and financial support and has been a big part of helping restore the Cross Homestead in Roscoe.
